Table of Recommendations 2011/12

The ACC Board recommended to the Minister for ACC the following levy rates for the 2011/12 year:

  • no increase at all in the average work levy
  • a 2.5% increase in the average motor vehicle levy
  • a 6.7% increase in the earners’ levy.

Today the Minister announced that the average levy rates for 2011/12 would not change from those of the current year.

Work Account: cover for injuries that occur in the workplace

Paid by self-employed* and employers (invoiced by ACC)

The Motor Vehicle levy rate will be put into effect on 1 July 2011.

ACC’s levy recommendations will be published in the New Zealand Gazette and the major daily newspapers on 22 December 2010. More information is available via Levy consultation 2011/12.
