Who is Currently Covered by ACC
ACC cover is available when any person, including a visitor from overseas, suffers accidental personal injury (including occupational disease and Treatment Injury and Patient Injuries) at any time in New Zealand or, in a few cases, overseas. Fault is not a consideration, except for cases of suicide, intentional self-injury or injury suffered during criminal conduct resulting in a prison sentence.
