Section 3.1. All Work-Related Claims

Preamble
This section collates the three work-related premium accounts: the Residual Claims account; the Self-Employed Work account; and the Employers’ account (see scheme funding for explanations of these accounts). Non-work related claims to Earners before the establishment of the Earners’ account in 1 July 1992 were paid from the Residual claims account. In this section these non-work related claims have been removed.
Work-related claims from the pre 1999 Accredited Employers programme and those covered by private insurers in the period 1 July 1999 to 30 June 2000 (18,000 to 20,000 claims) so are excluded from this section, due to the private market period.
