Applying for ACC CoverPlus Extra

There are two ways for your client to apply for ACC CoverPlus Extra:

Important information about applying for ACC CoverPlus Extra

  • If the level of cover requested falls outside our Underwriting guidelines, we will contact your client to discuss their individual situation and negotiate an appropriate level of cover
  • Once cover is approved, we will send your client an offer of cover
  • Your client has 21 days to accept the offer, by way of signing and returning it to us before the offer lapses
  • Cover starts from the date the original application is received by ACC, even though cover terms may not yet have been confirmed
  • The offer will lapse if your client does not sign and return the acceptance form
  • Once we have received your client’s signed acceptance, we will send them a policy certificate and an invoice. The invoice is payable within 30 days of the invoice date. The due date is on the invoice
  • If your client wishes to cancel the offer, they will be covered under ACC CoverPlus.
