ACC WorkSafe Cycle
The ACC WorkSafe Cycle is a roadmap for employers to reduce workplace injury and illness. It is also used by ACC as a framework for all ACC workplace injury prevention programmes.
When you work through the ACC WorkSafe Cycle, you need to do so with some understanding of the factors that contribute to injuries and illness in your workplace.

ACC Workplace Safety Management Practices
ACC Workplace Safety Management Practices provides employers with the opportunity to receive a 10-20% discount on their ACC levy by implementing comprehensive health and safety systems in their workplaces.

Both documents have the requirements of the Health and Safety in Employment Act 1992 and the Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems standard (AS/NZS 4801:2001) (external links) embedded in them. They contain the same health and safety elements, grouped slightly differently to meet their different purposes.
