Sport smart tips

Smart tips is a free online guide to help you prevent injuries and perform better in your chosen sport or activity. The guide includes information specific to your chosen sport or activity such as stretching, warming up, cooling down, equipment, rehydration and injury management. You can customise your own Smart tips guide to include individual or team information such as key dates, pre-game checklists and contact numbers.

How Smart tips works

It takes three simple steps to produce your own customised Smart tips.

1. Choose

First, choose your sport or activity. There are over 30 to choose from including cricket, Tai Chi, taekwon-do, orienteering and surfing. If your sport or activity is not included on the list, you can request to have it included.

2. Customise

In addition to the information provided, you can add information that is relevant to you or your team. For example, your customised information can include game rules, tournament dates and your weekly training programme.

3. Print

Once you have finished customising your Smart tips guide, you can save and print it. When printed, Smart tips can be folded to pocket size, making it easy to take with you when training or attending an event.
