Nominations are open for the Attitude Awards
Do you know a high achiever who’s taking on the world and changing perceptions of disability? Nominate them for an Attitude Award!
The Attitude Awards have a special place in our collective hearts here at ACC. An important part of our role is helping people live their best lives after an injury has caused disability. So, we’re very proud to again be the principal sponsor of this fantastic event.
About the awards
The Attitude Awards is the only event of its kind. They celebrate achievements in the disability community.
There is a wide range of nominees every year. From athletes to artists, from advocates to entrepreneurs.
Last year’s Attitude ACC Supreme Award winner was Geneva Hakaraia-Tino. She’s non-verbal, but this intelligent and driven young woman has a lot to say. She’s on a crusade to see Te Reo Māori added to computerised communication devices. Find out more about her in her finalist profile from last year's Attitude Awards.
Attitude will announce award winners at a black-tie ceremony at Auckland’s Sky City. They'll also show the event in a special episode on TVNZ 1.
For category information and to nominate someone, visit the Attitude Awards website.
Closing date for nominations
Nominations close on Friday 20 July. Finalists will be announced in August.
