It comprises our technical corporate functions across finance, legal, risk and assurance, actuarial, procurement and property, privacy, and governance.

Stewart will join us from the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE), where he is currently the Chief Financial Officer and leads the Finance and Performance group, which includes finance functions together with procurement, eInvoicing, risk, assurance and organisational performance.

He brings vast experience across the private and public sectors in banking, insurance and government, spanning a broad range of corporate and finance functions.

Stewart’s executive experience in large scale, complex organisations and his deep understanding of stewardship and governance will be incredibly valuable to ACC, as will his personable style and commitment to developing high-performing teams,” ACC Chief Executive Megan Main says.
