Information about types of injury, how quickly we accept them, and how our customers rate us is now available online.

We've just published information on our website about the 2 million new injury claims we accepted in the 2018/19 financial year from New Zealanders, and what you think about the support we provide.

We've done this to make it easier for people to find out more about these claims, including what type of injuries they are, how quickly we accept them, and how our customers rate the service they get from us.

We're doing this so that the information is accessible and transparent for New Zealanders.

Collecting data on all claims helps us to improve the support we give you, and better inform the levies we need to collect.

Between 1 July 2018 and 30 June 2019, we accepted 97% of the claims, representing 2,027,789 individual claims.

We also collect data on customer feedback as it helps us improve our service. Between January and March 2020, we got four complaints for every 1,000 active claims, and we resolved 92% of complaints within 20 days.
