We've updated our privacy notice
We uphold the principle of kaitiakitanga (stewardship) when handling your personal and health information. We also understand that personal information is seen by many as taonga (a treasure). We respect your information and keep it safe.
What has been updated?
We have updated our privacy notice to align it with recent changes to the Privacy Act 2020 and Health Information Privacy Code 2020. These changes require us to let you know when we have or will collect your personal or health information from someone else.
Our updated notice includes more information about when we will collect your personal and health information from other agencies, such as your General Practitioner (GP) or employer. We have also made some changes to better reflect our personal and health information handling practices. For example, our updated notice includes some information about our use of email pixel technology.
