Court of Appeal ruling clarifies ACC cover

On 6 December, the Court of Appeal issued a ruling which held that failure to diagnose spina bifida during pregnancy is a treatment injury to the child.
Our role now is to gain a thorough understanding of the ruling and its impact, so we can implement the legal decision correctly.
Lodge a claim - If a treating provider has a client who believes this ruling applies to them, please follow the usual process to lodge a treatment injury claim for the client.
