ACC participates in New Zealand Association of Counsellors Conference

ACC was fortunate to be able to sponsor and participate in the New Zealand Association of Counsellors recent Tihei Mauri Ora Conference in Wellington at Te Wharewaka Conference Centre in July 2022.

This was a collaborative event with time to connect with members of New Zealand’s Counselling workforce and showcase the opportunities that are available to work with our clients in many areas including those with a sensitive claim, clients with physical injuries, and clients who have a developed a mental injury as a result of their physical injury. 

We were also able to discuss the legislative change that will provide cover to New Zealand’s birthing parents for certain physical injuries sustained during the labour and delivery process. 

We would like to thank the New Zealand Association of Counsellors for the opportunity to attend and present on ACC at their conference.
