Getting aids and equipment to help with an injury

If we cover your injury, we can help with aids and equipment. This could be crutches, a wheelchair, hearing aids, glasses or artificial limbs.

Help at home after an injury

If we cover your injury, you may be able to get in-home support to help you recover.

Travel and transport

If we cover your injury we may be able to help with costs if you need to travel for treatment or rehabilitation.

Support with childcare and education after an injury

If we cover an injury for you or the child you care for, we may be able to help support the child’s care and education.

Culturally responsive support with Hāpai

We’re providing more culturally responsive support through Hāpai. This is available to kiritaki who have experienced serious or complex injuries.

Treatment under our Integrated Care Pathway

If you have suffered an injury to your shoulder, lower back, or knee that may require multiple treatments and rehabilitation services, our Integrated Care Pathway service could be for you.

Counselling and therapy

We can help pay for counselling and therapy sessions if you need support after a physical injury or after experiencing sexual abuse. We offer services to support sensitive claims.
