Moving kiritaki from Training for Independence Sensitive Claims

Released 31/07/2024

The Training for Independence Sensitive Claims (TI-SC) contract ends on 30 November 2024 and will not be renewed. That’s because beginning on 1 December 2024, professions that were previously under the TI-SC contract will be available under the new Sensitive Claims Service contract.

As we move to the new Sensitive Claims Service, it’s important that kiritaki (clients) who are receiving services under the TI-SC contract can continue receiving the services and treatment they need.

To help with this, we’ve set up a transition period between 1 December 2024 and 31 May 2025. This will allow time for kiritaki to complete services under the TI-SC contract and/or to move to the Sensitive Claims Service.

After the kiritaki has transitioned to the Sensitive Claims Service, any TI-SC programme or services they’re receiving must end. From that point forward, any support the kiritaki needs must be delivered under the Sensitive Claims Service contract.
