New Dunedin site opening 22 September

ACC’s new Ōtepoti (Dunedin) site will open to clients and the public on 22 September 2025. The new site is located at 9 Queens Gardens.
Built in partnership with Ngāi Tahu Property, the new building reflects ACC’s commitment to creating welcoming, future-ready spaces that support providers and kiritaki (clients). It’s been thoughtfully designed to make visits easier and more inclusive for everyone.
What you can expect
- Accessibility features include: automatic entrance sensors, an accessible reception counter, wide open spaces for wheelchair and guide dog access, high-contrast flooring, blind square beacons, hearing loops, and mobility carparks –including extra-wide spaces for self-drive vans with side ramps.
- Cultural design the elements honour mana whenua and the local environment, making the space not only functional but meaningful.
This new site is part of ACC’s ongoing effort to improve the experience for clients, the public, and providers alike — ensuring that the spaces we work in are safe, inclusive, and aligned with the values of the communities we serve.
