Residential Support Services contract renewal and service schedule updates

We’re pleased to confirm the Residential Support Services contract right of renewal has been exercised from 1 October 2025. In partnership with current contract holders, we’ve made several minor updates to the service schedule to strengthen the delivery of quality care and support.
Key changes include:
- clearer definitions for the different levels of care to support consistent understanding and service delivery
- simplified Care Plan timeframes and requirements to streamline processes for providers and clients
- introduction of new key performance indicators, with a focus on supporting clients with short-term residential care needs to return home as soon as safely possible.
We’ve also updated the Operational Guidelines to further support understanding and delivery of the service.
