Frances goes to Nana’s room to wake her up, only to find Nana is already awake, in bed, on her smart phone trying to listen to the radio.

Transcript

Frances is talking: Rise and shine old lady. Hey, tell your boyfriend to text you later.

Nana: At least I got one, hahaha.

Visual

Frances rolls her eyes as she leaves the room and closes Nana’s door.

Visual

The kitchen, sun is up. The kitchen is bright and open.

Frances paces into the kitchen, dressed and ready for work, Alter-Ego is in tow, helping Frances get ready. Nana is already sitting at the table awaiting a hot drink and her medicine.

 

Visual

Frances pours two cups of tea, but right up to the brim. Alter-ego grabs them and pours a bit out, so that they don’t spill.

Frances then proceeds to take both cups of tea, the medication bottle gripped under her armpit, holding toast in her mouth, but by the time she turns around, Alter-ego is directly in front of her [music stops] holding a staunch stance, gently takes the medication bottle from under Frances’ armpit, places it back on the bench, then pulls the toast gently from Frances’ mouth, Frances still bites on it while Alter-ego pulls it away, and chews slowly.

Frances is talking: Keep rushing around like that. You could hurt yourself.

Visual

Nana still sitting at the table, looks at Frances and smiles. Frances looks at Nana and smiles sarcastically.

Have a hmm. If you get hurt. Who gets harmed?
