I like to get up really early because
you know I believe early bird catches
the worm. I like to get into the office
early so I have some head space to
really think about what are my
priorities of the day. My day usually
involve connecting with my team checking
in to make sure that they are okay and
that they've got all the support that
they need for the day and also kind of
look at the challenges or any things
around the business we need to make
decision on. I am involved in a lot of
meetings which make up a lot of my day.
I think the most important thing about
being a leader is actually knowing that
you're there to serve your people. It's
not about hierarchy. Your job is to
bring the best of the people around you.
I like to end my work day with building
a to-do list for tomorrow. What it does
is really allows me to set myself up for
next morning, but also I can download
and put work leave work where work is uh
and at home and be present and be a dad.
I truly believe ACC is a national
treasure. And the reason why I say this
is because it is the only unique scheme
in the world where regardless of who you
are, if you're injured, we provide
support for you.
