New survey captures kiritaki experiences with the Sensitive Claims Service

Released 03/11/2026

We’ve launched the Patient Reported Experience Measures (PREMs) survey to understand how kiritaki (clients) experience the Sensitive Claims Service. The results will help us identify trends and opportunities to improve the service. The PREMs survey is sent to kiritaki receiving support through the Sensitive Claims Service Short Term Support to Wellbeing or Tailored Support to Wellbeing pathways at specific points during their recovery journey. Kiritaki are invited via email or SMS and will not be surveyed more than once within a 12-month period.

The survey is completely voluntary and confidential. Kiritaki can choose whether or not to complete the survey, and their decision will not affect their ACC support or treatment. Results are reported in aggregate and will not be used to assess an individual therapist or clinical practice.

It’s also important to note that the survey does not ask about experiences of sexual abuse or assault.

PREMs complement existing Patient Report Outcome Measures (PROMs) and service performance information. While PREMs capture kiritaki experiences of care and support, PROMs focus on changes in kiritaki health, wellbeing, or recovery outcomes over time.
