Seeking clinical psychologists and psychiatrists to provide mental injury assessments
We're experiencing growing demand from clients seeking ACC support following sexual abuse or assault. To meet this critical need, we're looking for experienced clinical psychologists and psychiatrists to join us as assessors in our mental injury services. This is an opportunity to help New Zealanders with mental health needs get access to support and return to independence. This purposeful work can add variety to your professional practice.
There are opportunities to provide these supports through our Psychiatric and Sensitive Claims Services.
Psychiatric Services
Through Psychiatric Services, you can offer assessments to determine ACC cover for mental injuries caused by physical injuries, work-related injuries, treatment injuries and sexual abuse or assault, and determine rehabilitation options to help kiritaki (clients) get back to work and independence.
Sensitive Claims Service
Through the Sensitive Claims Service, you can provide support, diagnostic assessment and treatment services for kiritaki who’ve experienced sexual abuse or assault. You can apply to deliver Specialist Cover Assessments and/or Function Assessments.
