Free training available for providers supporting male survivors

Released 04/02/2026

Tautoko Tāne Aotearoa is delivering a free training series across the country to support and strengthen the capability and approach across the family violence and sexual violence sector for male survivors of sexual abuse.

The series, Hoake Tātou | Walk With Me, is designed to bring providers and agencies together, help strengthen understanding of the barriers men face when seeking help, and share insights from its Purposeful Peer Support approach.

Presentations started in Southland in mid-September and finish in Whangārei in March 2026. The series is open to all professionals and organisations working in or alongside the family violence and sexual violence sector.

Find out more about the presentation series, including dates, locations and registration.
