Six simple steps to recover at work

If you’ve had a sprain or strain, you don’t need to stop everything. With the right plan, staying active and connected at work, through suitable duties or reduced hours, can help you recover faster and get back to what matters, sooner.

SixSteps BEC

1. See a doctor

Get assessed and, if needed, get a medical certificate to guide what you could safely do at work.

5. Check in with your doctor

Before your certificate runs out, check in with your GP. They can review your recovery and reassess what work activities are safe for you to do.

Stay in touch with your employer and workmates - connection helps recovery feel easier.
