Pricing reviews for contracted services – submissions now open

Released 01/10/2026

We're now seeking information to inform our future pricing and commissioning decisions for contracted health and rehabilitation services.

Our pricing approach

As part of our ongoing contract management, we regularly review pricing across our services to ensure funding remains fair, sustainable, and aligned with the outcomes we’re seeking for our kiritaki (clients).

Our reviews consider factors like general inflation, changes in service component costs, provider and service performance, and the long-term sustainability of ACC. To understand these factors, we rely on available information to get an accurate picture of how services operate and the pressures affecting them.

You're invited to share service-specific information and perspectives that could help inform our decisions. We welcome evidence, examples, case studies, financial information where appropriate, and other supporting material that can improve our understanding of provider experiences and market conditions.

What to expect and when

The purpose of this engagement is to gather information before we undertake our pricing review analysis. We don't intend to undertake further engagement on any subsequently proposed pricing adjustments before recommendations are considered by the our Board. We will consider all information received through this process but we retain responsibility for all final decisions.

Submissions will close Wednesday 4 November 2026.

Provide a submission

You can find information on the process, timings, and submission form on our website: www.acc.co.nz/pricingreviews

Thank you for the time and effort taken to share your input.

If you work under the Cost of Treatment Regulations

This pricing engagement process is for suppliers and providers who deliver ACC services under a contract. A separate process for providers who deliver treatment funded under the Cost of Treatment Regulations (including acupuncturists, chiropractors, general practitioners, nurses, nurse practitioners, osteopaths, physiotherapists, podiatrists and other ACC-registered health providers) is administered by the Ministry for Business Innovation and Employment.
