About the Rongoā Māori Advisory Panel

The Rongoā Māori Advisory Panel provides strategic advice that will enhance our processes to improve, progress and promote rongoā Māori for the benefit of our kiritaki (clients) and whānau.

Our panel uses mātauranga Māori to identify new opportunities to strengthen access, experience and outcomes for hapori Māori (Māori communities). The panel will help us to embed te ao Māori approaches by advising on the strengths of a variety of kaupapa Māori initiatives and ideas.

The panel meets ā kanohi (face-to-face) regularly to advise on relevant, important and strategic initiatives and programmes. These meetings take place every three months.
